The Christian life cannot be lived in isolation.
The New Testament is full of "one another" commands that cannot be obeyed apart from community. At The River, Small Groups (a.k.a. Sunday School Classes) exist to EQUIP THE SAINTS by encouraging each other in faithfulness to the Lord through studying the Word together, carrying one another's burdens & living on mission as a community grounded in the gospel.

The Encouragers

The Encouragers is a welcoming, multi-generational community of adults in all seasons of life who gather weekly for Bible study, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We explore Scripture together in a way that is engaging and applicable to everyday life. We would love for you to join us Sunday in the main sanctuary.

Backstage Bible Study

We take backstage while
Christ takes center stage.
Our eclectic mix of young and old, married and single, college to retired, welcomes anyone who desires to dig into the Word of God.
We enjoy discussing recent sermons, as well as going through books of the Bible, verse by verse, and doing life together.
Come join us this Sunday behind the sanctuary stage.

The Engagers

We love to engage our hearts and minds with some of the harder books of the Bible leading to practical life lessons and application. We have studied the books of Daniel, Isaiah, Revelation, Ezekiel, and are currently studying Hebrews. We are a mix of generations and welcome all. Come join the fun in
